ABOUT OUR REGIONAL EVENTS

The Coalition holds two types of regional events. At least once a year, Assemblies are held in each of the seven regions. These are open to volunteers, advocacy partners, staff and committee members. These form a key part of the democratic structure of the Coalition. At regular intervals, usually every two months, regional meetings are held for those working in local advocacy groups. These are open to those involved in any form of advocacy, and not just citizen or volunteer advocacy. If you’d like to know if you are eligible to attend these events, please contact enquiries@cacoalition.org.uk The Coalition is currently working in partnership with the Advocacy Resource Exchange to expand the membership of these regional groups, which are autonomous. A section of these regional meetings is reserved for issues specific to informal volunteer advocacy, but other issues of wider concern to local groups feature regularly on the agendas.
